Jennifer Eskra is the Director of Legislative Affairs at the Humane Society Legislative Fund where she works with Congress and other animal welfare stakeholders to advocate for legislation and the implementation of policies that protect animals.
Prior to joining HSLF, Jennifer was a Professional Staff Member with the United States Senate Appropriations Committee for nine years where she was responsible for funding decisions for the Department of Justice. She also previously worked in the Office of Congressional Affairs at the United States Marshals Service and Office of Budget at the Department of Commerce. Jennifer has a B.A. in Political Science from Xavier University and a M.S. in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University's Heinz College.
